Saiyyam — is the creative extension of Vanita Rao (the founder). Vanita is a professional fine art & landscape photographer & an artist. Saiyyam helps transform the space around us with mindful photography. And with Saiyyam, Vanita wanted to share her passion for mindful photography with everyone.
Vanita was quite passionate about taking Saiyyam digital and share it with the world. Fast forward to discovery calling with PulsAero, Vanita was assured of working with us and so were we. There were many things we discovered on our voyage of Saiyyam's development. Let's talk more about it.
Do you know how many genres photography has? Yes, photography has genres. 15 common ones and more. But, there's something common in every picture that has been taken in the world. Every picture has a story to tell & it makes us feel something.
Vanita was quite clear about what she intended to give when she contacted us for Saiyyam. However, the stance was inaccurate for a brand. As Saiyyam offered more than just photography, it cannot be approached as a photography brand, rather a brand that helps people uplift from their current state of mind & enlighten them with various genres of photography.
The path on which Vanita was walking, was followed by fewer people in the world. And, her competitors were lacking a good digital presence. So, we had to make sure we helped Vanita dominate her space. Therefore, we built a comprehensive strategy & defined the mission, vision & purpose of Saiyyam, helping the viewers understand the brand easily.
Fun Fact 18 hours of total video chat was enough to complete the branding.
Next! We were on track to digitize Saiyyam. So, we started our exploration & came up with a few stylescapes to choose from. For us to develop the design, we had to make sure our evaluation factor was her photography theme. And, most of Vanita's photography was done during the nighttime. So, Vanita went with the most vibrant one & it fit the brand perfectly.
Fun Fact We spent in total 91 days to give Saiyyam her desired solution.
During the research process, we came across many photographers with websites. But, all of them followed the same boring old pattern of showcasing their work. So, we made sure Saiyyam didn't walk on that path. Our design aimed to deliver a lively experience to viewers that would make them feel that they're surfing through a stash of photos. Which helped them to easily connect with the experience Saiyyam wanted to deliver.
